NUTCRACKER | RUSSIAN CHRISTMAS TEA
In the times of Russian aristocracy, the tables of the winter palace where laden with oranges from seville, pomegranates from Georgia, exotic aromatics from the east.
This tea is a celebration of the spice and joy of the Yule season. When the air would sparkle with freshly fallen snow and the spices wafting from the kitchens would perfume the air.
A warm, spiced hug in a cup at Christmas and all year round.
Black Tea, Cinnamon, Cloves, Elderberries, Hibiscus, Mallow flowers, Blackberries, Raspberry, Strawberry, Rosehip, Natural Flavour
1 Teaspoon (2.5g) per 200ml | 100 °C | Steep 3-4min
Delicious and deep flavour that lingers well. Pairs well with milk and sugar but is able to hold its own without the need for sweetening. Perfect for a cold and rainy night, all flavours are present but do not overwhelm the underlining black tea flavour. Very good balance between the black tea leaves and the spices. Impressed and will buy again as well as recommending to friends!
When I smelt this tea, it was amazing. I visualised a lovely juicy, spicy fruit cake, raspberry & berries cordial mixed with marzipan icing. I placed two tablespoons of tea in a 6-cup teapot. I enjoyed the tea experience. It brewed quickly. It is a nicely blended tea and smooth. This tea gave me an uplifting experience. As I have lost a lot of weight, I want to enjoy a sweet without having to deal with a lot of calories. This tea fills my sweet cravings. This tea is a treat. It would be wonderful with a biscuit or cake as well. I loved the distinct lovely blue tin and tea sample. It is great that you can stack the tins together solidly. The container top is easy to open. I opened up the tin and placed my tea bushels into the container. While the postage was a bit slow, due to the NSW Covid, the tea was definitely worth the wait. The company communication and the post tracking information were good. While this tea is a little pricey compared to other tea companies; I loved that it was on sale. It gave me an excellent opportunity to try it. I would recommend this tea; if you like a good tea to put you in a positive mood and savour, then you should try this. It is a nice strong tea and can be adjusted to various strengths. The quality of the tea is excellent. It has a festive, joyful and royally essence to this fantastic tea. This tea is unique, memorable, and a joy to have because of its difference and quality. I will definitely be reordering this one again. It is not your generic or boring type of tea. I drink this tea when I want to reward myself. It makes me feel special.
A delishous tea that is warming and aromatic.
While Christmas in Australia is not in winter, I could not resist this tea. It smells like Christmas spices and you can really taste the berries in the cup. Great for a wet Summer afternoon (which we seem to have a lot of this year!)
Thank you Sarah for taking the time to leave us a review. Glad you are enjoying the Christmas Tea - it is also great Iced!
